Account Representative - Albany NE Territory

On a daily basis, we manage all sorts of wastes and by-products. We like recycling basic commodities, but also handle the toughest hazardous wastes. Our key facilities are some of the most robust in the US – including waste treatment, incineration and landfill. But in everything we do, we insist on doing things safely and compliantly.

We are currently hiring a Account Representatives to support our Northeast Territory



Responsible for outside sales, new business development, and account management with assigned accounts or  customer to support all business services for Heritage and in achieving its revenue and profitability goals.  Manages quality and consistency of product and service delivery.  Travel 80% of time.

Increases sales revenue and profit dollars by identifying potential new accounts and soliciting orders through personal sales calls to explain services, assess potential customer needs.

Increases sales revenue and profit dollars of existing accounts through regular contact with customers, continued communication about other available services.

Fosters sales relationships with target accounts.

Prepares, submits and interprets periodic report on activities, sales volume and expenses.

Attends and participates in sales meeting and training programs; represents company at trade shows and conventions, Chamber of Commerce and professional associations.

Keeps informed on major environmental regulatory changes and industry trends as well as competitive conditions.

Demonstrate ability to adapt to CORE business and customer categorization.

Demonstrate ability to manage DSO's to <45 days.

Education:                                                                                                                                                Four year college degree preferred.  Sales, Business or Science preferred. 

Experience:                                                                                                                                                   3 years sales experience.

Knowledge and Abilities: Must posses good communications skills, both written and verbal.  Requires knowledge of computers. Working understanding of all Heritage services. Proven sales ability. Travel required 80% of the time, overnight travel required.
