Description:A Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for supporting and managing all Heritage Suppliers, and must ensure compliance of Supply Chain practice and procedures, along with effectively communicating decisions made with customers.
Duties:

Work closely with Supply Chain Manager to provide recorded progress of supplier's approval, documented communications,  lack of responses, and decisions made on the department behalf.

Evaluate, and manage supplier compliance documents, i.e. terms and conditions, supplier registration, and certificates.

Create, update and maintain supplier information located on company programs - MMS, Intranet.

Scan and upload all necessary and appropriate files for new supplier set up.

Run continuous Supplier reports to show: Supplier activity, information, and audits.

Support and maintain system procedures: supplier compliance updates, new supplier qualifications, and supplier assessments.

Qualifications:

Four year college degree required or equivalent experience of four (4) years compliance related field experience with HS Diploma or GED.

Minimum two (2) years combined experience in insurance, legal, business, or environmental field. 

Knowledge and Abilities Requirements:   Strong verbal and written communication skills with strong decision making ability.  Must be able to work under time pressure, attention to detail, and multi-task. Create and maintain strong relationships with supplier and internal customer.  Effectively communicate with all level of the organization. Must be able to work independently.  Must be computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
