Heritage is looking for a highly driven for success, self-motivated and self-starting individual. Must be adaptable and able to change direction quickly, plus withstand and overcome rejection from cold calls.
This position is a key component to our sales team; supports outside sales staff by researching potential customer profiles, qualifying leads, making first contact, introduce the company in a positive manner, and schedule appointments with targeted prospects.
Supports outside sales team by finding viable sales opportunities and setting sales appointments.
Research target prospects using internet resources.
Organize, contact (phone and e-mail), and document self-generated leads.
Utilize CRM (customer relationship management) software, mapping, and other computer programs to perform and track all daily activities.
Schedule a minimum of 8 appointments weekly.
Field any returned incoming calls from leads. Reschedule appointments as needed.
Develop internal relationships and respond to requests from Sales team in a timely manner.
Coordinate schedule availability and needs with sales team.
High school diploma or GED required.
Entry Level Position: some work experience preferred; sales highly desired.
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Strong written and verbal skills are a must. Computer literacy, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MMS, and other associated sales tracking programs. Good people skills. Good organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to work under the pressure and with short deadlines. Ability to analyze phone reports and maintain databases.
